I am currently a Professor of Art at West Liberty University in West Virginia where I  teach drawing, painting and illustration courses. I served as the Chair of the Department of Media and Visual Art from 2010 to 2020. I live in Wheeling, WV with my wife Tracey and our two sons. My core mission is a devotion to possibilities.

The Modern Punchinello

These trickster transformers, or modern punchinello, is my observation and exploration of our human vulnerabilities. The work is rooted in pop surrealist philosophies where everyday life, knowledge of our past and images from dreams inform my creative voice. I have been living with these pop symbolist figures for over twenty five years and I believe this is me at my most authentic.
